WE LIVE IN AN ANXIOUS world at the moment. Don’t you agree? And it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. I feel it sometimes. I’m sure you do, too. And it’s not just the global stuff, that makes us toss’n’turn at night. It’s also the close-to-home stuff.
For the past 44 years, Grapevine’s tried to ‘give families a lift’ – by tackling the anxieties facing kids, parents and caregivers in this beautiful country. We’ve put 54 million copies of our colourful little mag – free of charge – into Kiwi households. And ahead lies another year of opportunity …
Funded entirely by donations, we’ll print thousands more copies (as many as we can afford) – and deliver them with love to struggling families (as many as we can reach). And here’s a wish-list of the outcomes we’d love to see:

- parents will shower their kids with extra warmth, time, and attention
- young couples will learn early about growing healthy families
- older couples will re-commit, and repair their damaged relationships
- struggling teenagers will be reassured that they’re AOK, and find fresh direction
- grandparents will share with grandkids the insights they’ve gained over decades
- the lost and lonely will realise they’re not alone, that someone truly cares
- the distressed or depressed will sense faith, hope, and love in Grapevine’s pages
- the wounded and desperate will gain the courage to reach out for help
- and broken hearts will be mended.
